Tyler Stone is a freelance artist from Iowa specializing in paleoart and creature design. He is open to commissions for publication and private clients. His work has appeared on the cover of the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology and in The Biologist magazine. He also dabbles in 2D animation, and is a regular contributor to Nature’s Compendium on YouTube.

In addition to art, Tyler is a full-time editor and photojournalist at KCCI TV in Des Moines, and has been nominated for two regional Emmy awards. In his free time, he creates videos about paleontology, paleoart, and (skeptical) cryptozoology on TikTok. He is also a guitarist, singer, and former music teacher.
